This sweet home is officially the oldest home I’ve ever drawn! Built in 1890 in Tacoma’s second oldest neighborhood. Just think of all the lives, moments and the people who lived there in that span of time is just amazing; and it goes on as a new chapter continues on for the new owners.

Sunday night doodles from our Cali trip. Been wanting to do this since we got home but we went straight into the first week of school. On to the next week and next projects! Have a good week everyone!

This home is perched on the hills of Sherman Oaks, CA. It’s gorgeous, it’s classic and the views to boot! But what makes it more special are the people who live in it who we are so blessed to call family.

Thank you for always making us feel at home whenever we visit and specially for letting us celebrate Parker’s 18th birthday there. Love you guys!

Fun fact: I had to work the beautiful view into this painting because as you can see from the original it’s not visible unless I climbed into the neighbor’s yard. But I just couldn’t omit that panoramic view you see from inside the house.

Ms. Roseanne lost their family home in Pacific Palisades to the LA fire. This house was built by her father in 1947 and it stayed with the family until 2 years ago.

The street it was on was lined with Camphor trees which are now all gone. Roseanne used to climb them when she was a child.

Yesterday’s low tide at noon brought everyone out to the beach! Went to our favorite spot, Owen Beach.

Late last year, a beloved member of the community Mattice, of Mattice Beauty Supply passed away. I didn’t know of her as we haven’t been in Tacoma for long. But I saw the impact she had in the community as my feed became flooded with posts in remembrance of her. To help support her family, Shop Local Tacoma created an auction with small businesses, artists and makers. I donated my services for a home illustration and was glad someone bid on it because it served a double purpose ❤️

Belated Happy Father’s Day to all the Fathers and Father Figures out there! I hope you all felt and received the love you deserve ❤️

Thankful for the one and only commission I got 🙏 Which actually worked out as it was a very busy few weeks prior to Father’s Day with our kiddos graduating and family coming in from out of town! So thank you Gezi and I appreciate your support!
