🚨Important update!🚨

Starting this Monday we’re gonna be moving to an appointment only schedule for Mondays and Tuesdays for the time being. Walk ins and same day appointments will no longer be available on those days. All appointments will need to be made via the booking section on our website by 8pm the day before.

We’re hoping to be back to business as usual sooner than later, but in the meantime, this is what makes sense for us!

Hey y’all! Just a heads up the shop is closed until after the new year!

We had planned on being open today but some unexpected events have led us to need to be closed. We’re sorry for any inconvenience! We have reached out to everyone with scheduled appointments to reschedule for after January 1st.

✨SO MUCH EXCITING NEWS!!!✨

Hello friends! Starting November 10th Obsidian Body Piercing will be open 7 days a week!!! So many of you have requested and wished we were open Mondays and Tuesdays, and we are so happy to be able to finally make that happen!

We are elated to formally announce and welcome Kay to the Obsidian team!!!

Kay is a body piercer based in Tacoma with a decade of body piercing experience under her belt.

With a combined background in fine jewelry and body piercing, she loves to curate jewelry combinations customized to your personal style and preferences.

Her favorite piercings to perform are any nostril piercings in any placement (i.e) mantis, standard, high nostril piercings, etc!

Kay is also very well versed in children’s ear piercings! Using a gentle and informative approach, she is happy to accommodate your children’s ear piercing needs and provide a wonderful experience!

Our wonderful apprentice Gillian will soon be offering apprentice ear lobe piercings for clients 18+ at a discounted rate!

She has been working hard and progressing swiftly through her journey to become a professional body piercer and we are thrilled for her to soon be offering services! Stay tuned for an official start date!

One of the best things about this industry is not only the amazing people you get to meet along the way, but having the pleasure of helping them realize their vision and become a part of their story!

Ira came into our shop a few months ago looking for a very special custom piece to wear for his wedding day! He decided on an 8g solid 14k yellow gold circular barbell with cone ends for his septum. The wonderful folks at were more than happy to help us make his wedding day wish come true! This is one of the most spectacularly crafted pieces we have ever seen. It’s absolutely flawless. We are elated that we could be a part of making Ira and his beautiful bride’s wedding day exactly the day they have dreamed of! Working with Ira has been such a delight and we wish him and his bride to be all the best that life has to offer!

We would like to formally announce and officially introduce you all to the newest member of Obsidian Body Piercing… OUR NEW APPRENTICE!!! GILLIAN!!!

We’re so thrilled to have her and super excited for her journey to becoming a body piercer!

Be on the look out for apprentice services and specials in the future! As her apprenticeship continues she will be taking on more responsibilities and offering jewelry changes/ apprentice piercings!

🎊🎉🥳 HOLY HELL!!! TWO YEARS!!! 🥳🎉🎊

Today marks our two year anniversary of opening our shop and it feels surreal! Time flies when you love what you do!

We had no idea what this place would become when we first started dreaming of opening up our own body piercing studio. The love and gratitude we have for everyone who has supported us so far is hard to put into words, and it’s very humbling.

Obsidian has become an amazing place where all are welcome to come and enjoy the art of, and passion for, body piercing and body jewelry. We are elated and proud of what we have built and continue to do.

This place wouldn’t be what it is without our amazing clientele! We love and appreciate you all more than you could ever know! Thank you for embracing and trusting us to take care of all your piercing and jewelry needs.
