With a heavy heart I wanted to be the first to let you all know that Vero Colorado will be our last workshop. All good things must come to an end and Vero is no exception. For the past five years we have traveled all over the world and connected with the greatest creatives, it’s been such an honor. But, the biggest honor is changing the lives of our attendees. From day one, I knew I wanted to make Vero a place where creative entrepreneurs could come and feel like they were safe to open up and talk about all the struggles that come with owning a creative business. Lord knows it’s not easy, but going through it with a community sure does help. This was never about money, clout, or any self fulfilling goals, Vero was sheerly about helping and connecting with like minded people. Thank you to everyone who has made this platform what it is, I am so grateful. Now, let’s go have some FUN in July and make it the best Vero YET!

We are talking Manual focus in stories today, who has tired it?
Switching that auto focus button off is very scary, trust me I get it! I will say that I taught myself when I was forced to, well I bought a lens that was only manual 🤣 I practiced with it for months, and failed so much! But it was magic when I got it right and started to hit the mark more and more. The key is...just do it. I was feel “blah” about my digital work until I pushed myself to shoot this way. On your next shoot, give it a try. Or, what I really suggest is for you to shoot something for yourself and not a client and practice, because it does take a minute to get used to. Let me know what y’all think and tag me when you get the courage to do it, you won’t be disappointed!
