Solstice at the Cathedral offers the opportunity to slow down during the ‘hustle and bustle’ of the holiday season, and reflect upon the beauty of the season through music. St. Paul’s Cathedral will set the perfect stage to enjoy each performance. It is during the Winter Solstice, we truly understand the transformative power of the sun. How the return of Light in the deep darkness of Winter, can be representative of the seasons of change in our lives. Occasionally we all experience shadows of doubt, as we wait and hope for the renewal of light in our lives. We seek healing and balance, when our center -- the core of who we are -- is, once again, restored. We are presented with an opportunity to reflect on our own journey at Solstice time -- of how the sun illuminates the winter of our souls, and the belief that no matter how dark the night, the dawn will surely follow.
