The Rolling Stone article below has some very useful information about what Net Neutrality is and what it could mean for independant artists. Congress can stop the FCC from doing this, but they need to hear from internet users like you right now, before the vote on Thursday.

Studio tip:

When getting mixes back from the studio, it's important to listen and reference on a couple of different sources. Engineers are looking for feedback and changes you may want on the mix they sent. If you're listening on one source like an iPhone, it's hard to hear exactly what's going on with different elements of the mix, especially in the low end. Sounds crazy, right? It happens more often than you know.

Do you like metal? This is a new version of the track 'Dependent' from the Syracuse band Torment the Vein. It was originally released in 2007 on their Desperate Times... EP. Using the old sessions and some new processing techniques, we decided to re-edit, mix and master this track and give it a modern sound. Enjoy!

Tonight is the Syracuse Area Music Awards (SAMMYS)!! Good luck to all of the nominees this year and of course, our friends in Bruce Campbell, our first project and SAMMY nominee. Wow, we have some great talent in our local music scene!

Each year, hundreds of local musicians and valuable members of the Syracuse music community attend the show to cheer on their friends. Since the first Sammys was held at the Landmark Theater in 1993, the Sammys Award Show has become the number one local music event in the Central New York Area.

As far as client feedback goes, it literally does not get any better than this! That concludes our work with The Milkweeds, but we just started a new Project with Mr. AJ Cole this morning. Its gonna be another really good one.
