We have lots of fun lined up for the Town of DeWitt Recreation's 4th annual Trunk or Treat Event! Join us this Saturday, October 18th, from 3 pm to 6 pm at Heritage Landing Office Park located at 5800 Butternut Drive, East Syracuse, NY 13057. Parking is available in the lot behind the Heritage Office buildings and next door at DeWitt Town Hall.
New this year, we will have a coloring contest, and the winner will receive a $40 gift card courtesy of Once Upon A Child. Coloring sheets will be available at the event or at the recreation department.
We are giving everyone the chance to win, so if you can't make it to trunk or treat, you can still hand in your creation at the town hall by Wednesday, October 22nd, at 4:30 pm. The winner will be announced on Thursday, October 23rd.
We will also be raffling off a family 4-pack of tickets to a Syracuse Crunch game and an autographed poster signed by the team. Raffle tickets will be $1 for one ticket, for 10 tickets $5, and an arm's length $10.
All proceeds will go to the Friends of DeWitt Parks and Recreation to help fund our programs.
This year, we have a great mix of returning trunks and new participants! It's not too late to join us with your decorated trunk for a chance to win a $50 gift card for the best-decorated trunk, courtesy of Trapper's Pizza Pub.
