This September isn't the jam-packed September it was last year and it is an intentional choice. Going from 20+ events a month to 8 seems extreme but it is to find better balance. For these two years of running Pink Rock, I have dedicated 60-80 hours a week and this isn't a paid job folks. It's for the love of music and community. I have a long list of artists looking for shows here throughout the remainder of the year and I've been doing my best to coordinate some fun shows for them and you all - it does take a lot to coordinate multiple bands and if you are really motivated for a show here, please message me to see if the date is open - if so, contact some local bands to put a bill together and we'll make it happen. Chances are, you have more time for this than I do and there is a greater chance for it happening this way. And if you need recommendations, I have plenty! Also, I'm willing to try something new here for the days off as well - you want to rehearse in a real venue and not a basement? Let me know! RSVP for open rehearsal slots.
