Here's Khruangbin. It was a bitch to sort out, but as always, I learned a lot about their music, which was beautiful. At first I was daunted by how much some songs sounded alike, not in the end. They have these great spacey intro jams and nice transitions of synthy space between some of them.
If you like, put your headphones on take a deep breath of whatever you like to breathe and draw in.

It was great working with Classical pianist Allen Miller and recording his concert at the Everson Museum of Art! Allen put together an hour of pieces from the Romantic period for Valentines Day, including songs by Beethoven, Schubert, Chopin, Mozart, Liszt and more, with fascinating intros about the composers and what inspired the compositions. Thursday evening, Feb. 15, at 6 PM the Everson Museum of Art will be hosting a piano concert featuring the Kawai piano we recently gifted to the museum's newly renovated performance hall.

The piano has already seen great use and we are so pleased to see the impact it is having on the arts in our community.

Here's a recent recording from December 13, 2022 at the Strand Theater in Hudson Falls NY - a beautifully, and luckily, restored theater. This is a 6-track recording of Tim Reynolds' band TR3. Stereo tracks from the board and the others from my mics, dead center on on the lodge rail. What a great sounding theater and I, with my trusty dog Sunny, in the sweetest spot to record this great concert!

These are great, unique, concerts moving through the exhibit spaces - a unique experience for most of your senses! I attended the first performance and will be here for this one.

Since they left out the time! It is 2-3 PM this Sunday…

🎻David Fulmer () is back this Sunday! Join us in a thrilling concert of newly commissioned works, relating to AbStranded: Fiber and Abstraction in Contemporary Art. Celebrated composer, conductor, and violinist David Fulmer has curated an afternoon of works inspired by, and composed alongside the visual sculptures and works in AbStranded. Fulmer will take the audience on a physical tour of the Museum – having the audience follow him as he performs each work in front of a different work of art.

These events are child/student-friendly, and will include a pre-concert and post-concert discussion about the exhibit and the musical presentation.
