Hey SAS folks, our team would love to get your group's eyes on a casting call for our short film -- we're looking for experienced local talent, and your studio was the first institution on our list. CASTING CALL for “Look at Me”
An undefeated, self-proclaimed wrestling champion smashes into a regional wrestling federation.
Open to men age 18+
Film Shoot Dates: June 17 to June 22 in Ithaca, NY
Characters Descriptions
The Pretty Boy: (Male, Age 18 to 26, Athletic build) A rough young man, champion wrestler of his own backyard, forced to grow up too soon and found answers in violence and anger. A scowl that can set someone ablaze. A protagonist with a villainous streak. Role involves simulated wrestling and stage fighting.
Ricky Baby: (Male, Age 22 to 32, Athleticbuild) The “Face” of the regional wrestling federation, intimidating but friendly, the type of man to not realize he is in danger until punches are thrown. An antagonist with all the good intentions. Role involves simulated wrestling and stage fighting.

About the Filmmakers: Ryan Somelofske is an Assistant Professor of Film Production at Ithaca College and holds an MFA in Art Photography from Syracuse University. Robert S. Hummel is a Lecturer of Film and Writing for Film, TV and Emerging Media at Ithaca College. This will be their fourth film collaboration.
