Street Gallery NY by MIDOMA, in collaboration with , is proud to announce the official opening of “FIFTEEN MINUTES: HOMAGE TO ANDY WARHOL /VERTICAL EDITION.” This landmark exhibition has transformed the historic 1869 (+3 floor extension 1894) City Hall Commons (201 E. Washington St.) into an unprecedented vertical art experience, lighting up the downtown skyline from February 13th through April 9, 2026.
A Global Legacy Revived
Fresh off its record-breaking 2025 run as the most-visited exhibition at art haus SYR, this collection carries a prestigious global pedigree, having toured the world from 2011 to 2017. Originally produced by the late NY artists Jeff Gordon and Path Soong, this edition features 36”x36” digital prints and original audio recordings (available online at www.midoma.com) from cultural icons and Warhol “Superstars,” including Bob Dylan, Patti Smith, Christopher Makos, and Ultra Violet.
Innovative Architectural Takeover
In a stunning fusion of art and architecture, individual pieces are installed in the windows of floors 2 through 7 at all three corners of the iconic triangular “mini-Flatiron.” By utilizing the prow of the building, the installation creates a 360-degree vertical gallery visible to pedestrians from blocks away.
The activation also includes the ground floor windows, which have been “lit up” since September of 2025 with rotating NY art to provide an eye-level experience, ensuring the entire 157-year-old structure serves as a beacon of creativity during its transition.
