It is with an incredibly heavy heart that we announce that we have lost our fearless leader, our Burlesque Beauty, our sparkle sister, Madame Trixie (aka Shelly).
Many of you know Shelly very well from our benefits and shows that have been hosted in her honor over the last several years during her battle with cancer. Everywhere she went, she left an impact on countless people’s lives. Whether it was through a casual encounter, deeper conversations, or finding inspiration in her ability to smile and love others while fighting battles most would crumble under. She was responsible for creating the Burlesque scene in Syracuse, and those fortunate enough to have seen any of her performances over the years, knew just how magical and special she was. She could captivate an audience like no other. She was kind enough to take so many amazing women under her wing, and show them the tricks and trades of this sisterhood we call Burlesque. We are all better humans for having her in our life. Shelly, when we look back, we will always remember you with love in our hearts. And I would say on behalf of and in memory Shelly, always be kind. Look out for the people around you. Share a smile, share a laugh, and take care of one another. You never know how much it could mean to them.
Shelly, we love you always my sweet friend.

I am offering a $5.00 discount for tickets at the door to anyone who would like to make donations to the organizations I am so passionate about! Bring in any nonperishable food item for the Food Bank of Central New York or a gently used coat for the Salvation Army Coat Drive or any pet supplies and or food for the SPCA. As many of you have already heard the devastating news, the burlesque community and world have experienced a heartbreaking and shocking loss this week, after the brutal murder of one of our local burlesque sisters, Penny Scandall. Penny has been a major part of the burlesque scene in CNY for quite some time, and has touched more lives than what one would think is possible. Our thoughts and love are with all the family and friends of Penny that we know are hurting, specifically, our sparkle sisters of the Sirens & Stilettos Cabaret.

We are asking all of you, to please consider making a donation to assist her family with expenses. There will also be an event taking place to remember and celebrate her life. Please, share and spread the word as much as you can. There is a lot of love and support that is needed right now
