sunflowers, poppies, ferns, forget-me-nots, & bee balm as a memorial arm garden to honor Katie’s father. thank you for trusting the process & choosing me to create such a substantial memorial for you. I really had a blast from start to finish. projects like this are what it’s all about for me, bring me all of the botanical projects - please and thank you. I get asked a lot of I only do large tattoos, the answer is no! booking requests for large and small are equally welcome, but I am incredibly grateful that I do tend to get a lot of large scale projects.
if you are waiting for a text reply from me to schedule/reschedule please know you are not the only one! I have had a lot going on in my life and haven’t had time to focus on responding texts so theres literally more than 200 unread messages sitting there between multiple platforms.

I had such fun making these corresponding nautilus tattoos on two besties from out of state 💕🐚🌿🐚🖤 it’s always so fun to take one subject and create artwork for each person’s specific vibe. swipe to see both tattoos!

📣When a tattoo artist tells you “that old tattoo can’t be covered” - listen to them, but understand that it is an assessment of their own talents and not the reality of your situation. Now, read it again.

Jen here wanted to visually, spiritually, and emotionally close an old chapter of her life and instead be reminded daily of the beauty in transformation. She requested holly, daisies, and lily of the valley birth flowers. It was a 10+ year old tattoo, so it lightened quite a bit from the prep. Normally I don’t use so much white, but because she didn’t want it to be too big or too dark, I kept it small, dynamic & contrasted.

A lot of artists just don’t like cover ups, I think that’s great- send them all to me 😂🖤✨ everyone is allowed to like different things and have preferences but those solutions are obviously not for everyone, and neither is laser tattoo removal. I get it.
If you don’t like any of those solutions either - this is another option.

We can grey it out & do an opaque grey cover up of something fairly contrasted, but we have to use the old tattoo in the new design for texture or flow. Don’t though, very single cover up I take on requires a 30-60 minute consultation face to face to go over all of your options, tell you what to expect, and I show photos of the process. I do all this to help set accurate expectations of myself and this uncommon process that I use so often.

I did this in 3 sessions, the first was prep work so we didn’t have to go dark and then we broke up the actual cover up into two sessions for easy healing.

Life has definitely been lifing, this year has brought so much change & I’m trying to improve my work/life balance this year. In fact, I’d be honored.
Jessie wore this witchy faerie pinup for a number of years and still loved it, but decided she needs a garden after seeing my botanical work. Originally, she wasnt gonna have me touch the faerie but as we talked I got the sense that she didn’t really love the original artist’s choice to add cowboy boots. We did a prep session and decided she needed heels and tattoos for her next era of life. I had so much fun with this project, and I can’t wait to expand it this spring 🩵

Yet another piece of artwork added to Lauren’s arm garden! This lil berry snake was a modification of a piece from my original flash last year, just redrawn to fit the space & flow of her arm. I loved making this piece, and alll the others on her collection. All tattoos on this arm were done by me.

oh, so you’re a tattoo collector? if you just love collecting artwork, you’re probably my kind of person. but as tattoo collectors, we inevitably end up getting some tattoos that we just grow tired of seeing. if you’re sick of that tattoo you got at a random flash event 5 years ago from an artist you can’t remember the name of - you found the right place. welcome💖✨
I love cover ups & do them a LOT. Complex/dark cover ups are always welcome but for context- both of these were 1 session cover ups, no prep work needed. Sometimes if the tattoo is dark, large, or the client just doesn’t want high contrast we will do a prep session to lighten it a bit.
Projects like this are so much fun. Thank you to my wonderful client Gabby for always coming with fun ideas & trusting the process, cover up or not. It’s always a pleasure making art for you!

imagine having a tattoo that you hate from day 1 (she even told the tattooer she hated it) and then just wearing it for the next 45 years, until you get to meet me. That’s what happened with Candace. She is now 74 years young and had trusted me completely to draw on this pansy & set of lily of the valley flowers with a marker to cover the old flowers/crab/blob from the past. I covered that lil tat & some pretty gnarly scars that I didn’t take pics of. This lady was so amazing and resilient, never even flinched during the session. Days like that are special, people like her don’t come around every day. I wish I could tell the stories she and her husband shared with us, tattooing her was a trip and I’m so glad I was able to give her something beautiful to look at 💐💖
