SU DanceWorks

SU DanceWorks Founded in 1986, DanceWorks is an audition-based dance organization that is fully student run.

We have over 80 active members that come from a range of diverse backgrounds, styles, and levels of dance, but each of us are brought together by our extreme passion for the art. DanceWorks allows its members to be as involved as they wish - ranging from dancing one hour a week to being on board with opportunities for leadership and performance throughout the school year. All members rehearse thro

ugh the Fall and Spring semesters to prepare for our annual spring production. Two evenings of performances not only show off our dancers talents, but the hard work and creativity of our choreographers who were chosen in the Fall. Our show incorporates all styles of dance including, but not limited to, hip hop, lyrical, jazz, ballet, tap, and contemporary.

We are very excited to introduce the DanceWorks Board for our 2026-2027 season! We’ll start with our cast relations co-chairs starting with Brianna Varona!

Brianna is a rising sophomore and this will be her second year in DanceWorks.

Brianna continued dancing in college because she always knew she wanted to, and “DanceWorks immediately felt like home.”
