It is with great sorrow that we announce that the Magic Circle Children's Theater is on permanent hiatus.

Things had already become difficult with the demise of the local papers that used to give us free advertising, and only raising the ticket prices once in our 23 years, from $5 to $6....And then of course, Covid 🤷

Our shows required four to five actors who also had busy lives, whether in their grown up careers lol, or their last couple busy years of high school, for the princes and princesses! Plus, my folks to help out back/front/on, stage!

They were the best years of our lives and perhaps....
...just maybe... we could be talked into a private show. 😉

Hellooooo there Magic Circle fans! Sadly, we've been on hiatus so long, some of our fans who were eagerly awaiting our next show are now in college! ;)
While I intended to just take the summer off, as we Upstate NY'ers need all the sunshine we can get, one thing led to another and next thing we knew, we were all huddled at home wearing masks!

We are currently Venue shopping, think "Royal Ball Early Bird Costumed Kids Dinner Theater!" The same funny shows but with even MORE interaction! And food! (and wine for the grown ups!) and as soon as it's safe to dance with the Prince, and each other again, we're there! Can't WAIT, stay tuned!

I thought our audience member friends might find this cute and perhaps even useful for the future! Only 2 more Saturdays to see "Beauty & the Beast" and then we will be coming back in a new "Royal Ball; Dinner Theatre & Show" format in July due to declining weekly audience numbers, so stay tuned! And THANK YOU for these past 22 yrs!!!

If your kids are over 7, sure take them to Cinderella at the Landmark. But if they are younger, and want to meet the actors and become part of the show, and YOU want to spend $24 for four tickets instead of one, come to Beauty and the Beast! Every Saturday through the end of March! All shows are held at 12:30 at the Spaghetti Warehouse so be in the lobby at 12:15 for seating. All tickets are $6 cash only at the door please. Feel free to eat before or after and wear your Royal finest as we take pictures with all the kids after the shows!

"Beauty & The Beast", will be opening Jan. 12th and running every Saturday through March 30th. Shows start at 12:30, all tix $6, cash only payable at the door. Be in the lobby at 12:15 for seating, lunch available before at 11:00 or after at 1:30 if desired. Pics taken with all kids after the shows. "Sleeping Beauty" opens Saturday, Oct 6th! Our story begins with Sleeping Beauties' jealous cousin putting a spell on her to sleep for a hundred years! But, with a little help from the Blue Fairy and the Children in the audience, her plot is foiled ! As always, the shows are comedic, interactive and lots of fun ! The kids in the audience have to give the sometimes clueless characters advice, sing and dance along, AND, there is a super fun ending involving candy in this one ;) ! Wear a costume to join the royal court and don't forget that the actors stay out after every show to meet the kids and take pictures. All tickets $6, cash at the door. Meals are available before or after if desired. No reservations needed, just be in the lobby at 12:15 for the 12:30 show. or, call 315-449-3823 for info and reservations.
