Todd and I are grateful to Mike Garcia for taking the time to write about our podcast. We all miss live music, but at least Record Store Radio allows us to hear from some pretty fine musicians and learn about their life and times. I had the chance to hang with Bones on the Late Night with David Letterman set a few years back.

Tom "Bones" Malone is my featured guest on Record Store Radio. Best known for his work on Saturday Night Live, The Late Show with David Letterman and of course, the Blues Brothers. He has also performed with and arranged music with artists like Snoop Dogg, Frank Zappa, Blood Sweat and Tears, Mamas and the Papas and so many more. He's got some great stories.

Hey fans, due to the perfect storm of technical difficulties and scheduling conflicts, we are adjusting our schedule a bit. Cabaret star KT Sullivan will be rescheduled for mid-October. This week we will feature this week influential songwriter Bob Halligan, Jr. He has written over 1100 songs, 200 of which have been recorded by artists internationally with sales of over 30 MILLION units. Cher, KISS, Michael Bolton, Kathy Matea and others have helped put nine gold and platinum records on his wall, including the hit "Don't Close Your Eyes" by Kix.
