Your weekend just got more fun! On Saturday, August 8th, The Oasis Comedy Theatre will host their monthly open Improv Jam! Jump in and PLAY...or, just watch and LAUGH!

Doors open at 7:30pm…and the Jam starts at 8pm. Admission is only $5.

This is open to people of any level of improv experience...from no experience to advanced players. For the "Improv Curious," come and watch...or, sign up to play. If you take improv or acting classes, this is great way to practice what you've learned. Or, just try something new and have some fun! Random scenes, short-form, any form...or no form. And, we end the evening with “Dog-pile!” (What’s that? Come find out.)

Mondays (7 weeks) July 27th to September 14th. (No class on Sept. 7th)
6:30pm to 8:30pm
Adult Class (18+)

$150 (service fees included)

Would you like to gain more self-confidence, increase your memory, become a better listener, and think faster? Or, perhaps you just want to learn something new and have fun. Then, this class is for you!

This course covers the fundamentals of Improv. Topics will include: Agreement (“Yes, and...”), Active Listening, Conflict Resolution, Creating Environments (object work), Character Development, Basic Scene Structure, and much more.
These classes are a fun and relaxed way to develop rewarding new skills in a supportive, low pressure environment. People discover that learning improv provides them with powerful tools that they find useful (and usable) in every aspect of their life.
No acting or comedy experience is necessary…just a willingness to play and have fun.

This seven week course will run Mondays, starting July 27th. Class time is 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Spaces are limited and pre-registration is required. Seating is on a first-come-first-served basis. Tuition for the seven week course is $150. All payments must be received, by the final deadline, in order to be considered registered for this course. Final deadline for registration is Saturday, July 25th.

On Saturday, July 18th, The Oasis Comedy Theatre is hosting an evening of hilarious comedy and music. Featuring the improv comedy duo P.K.and Deb…and “short-form” improv team, Toxic Coccyx (in the style of the hit TV show, Whose Line Is It, Anyway.) Plus, the music and comedy of our special guests, The Blues Brothers.

The Oasis Comedy Theatre is located at 125 Farrier Ave, in Oneida. Doors open at 7:00 p.m., and the show starts at 8:00 p.m.
