Have you ever felt trapped in a machine that consumes you, where your identity and desires seem to vanish?

'Mecanikalgia No. 4' is part of my 'Mecanikalgia' series, an exploration of what it means to be trapped in a system that disconnects us from our essence. In this piece, the man is connected to a machine that seemingly gives him life, but also binds him, absorbing every fragment of his being.

The machine symbolizes external forces that promise relief and pleasure, but in return, demand our authenticity, our essence. Over time, the man loses his ability to feel, to question, to seek. His life becomes an endless cycle of dependence and disorientation.

This piece reflects the modern struggle: to what extent are we dependent on systems that disconnect us from who we truly are? If you’ve ever felt like you’re losing control over your life or that something holds you back, comment 'freedom' and join my art circle to explore these questions through my work.
