07/14/2026
We have opened enrollment for our 2026-2027 season.
Right now, we are only accepting enrollment for Dance and Tumbling. The karate schedule is still being determined but keep an eye out in the next few weeks for updates on karate classes.
You can enroll online at https://app.thestudiodirector.com/syracusedancecompany/portal.sd?page=Login
Classes will start on Friday, August 14th
We are so excited to see you in the studio again this year!!!
If you can't seem to find a class that will work for your family, please let us know and we will try to work something out with you! If the class you want is full, please make sure to add your child to the waitlist, we might be able to switch some things around and make room for you.
If you are planning to enroll in a dance class, please note:
When you enroll in dance we really prefer if you can make a commitment for the full season (August-April). If you dance for the whole season, then at the end you get to keep the costume, tights, and shoes as a thank-you for that commitment. Since our dance curriculum is progressive we can't accept new dance students after the first few weeks, which means if a dancer quits mid-season we can't fill their spot with any students from the waitlist. If you decide to quit mid-season we will honor that choice of course, but it just puts us in a really lousy situation. It also isn't very fair to any students who may have been on the waitlist and weren't able to get a spot in the class.
I’d like to highlight some changes we are making this season:
CLASSES BY GRADE
In the past our classes have been divided by age groups. This year we have organized them by grade instead. One of our core values at Syracuse Dance Company is to create a supportive, inclusive, and positive community for our students. While we loved giving kids the opportunity to advance beyond their current level, we’ve ultimately decided it’s more important that they have the chance to dance with their friends. While we are thrilled to encourage everyone’s skills and talents, sharing the joy of dance is really our main priority. We really appreciate everyone’s flexibility, and grace as we implement this change.
TUITION RATES
I know the cost of everything is rising. While we do have to make sure our business remains profitable, our biggest priority is keeping our classes as accessible as we can. In order to maintain our $50 per month tuition rates, we have decided to shorten our season to 28 weeks. This way, the value of our classes goes up without it being an additional financial burden to our customers. We’re really hoping it will end up being a win-win for everyone. You’ll get a few extra weeks off to spend with your families, and you won’t have to pay any extra money! We really appreciate your support and understanding.
