2014 has been a huge year for gaming and gamers, with the new generation consoles and PC gaming stealing gamers livelihood, it only seems to become bigger and bigger in the world. YouTube released its Top Queries of 2014 with 'Minecraft' taking the #2 spot, only being beat #1 query 'Music'. This is incredible when you think about the scope of music and how Minecraft seem to be rivaling that in YouTube searches. [ 80 more words. ]

After a dominant month of November, in terms of sales for Nintendo they have released sales figures for Wii U version of Super Smash Bros. which sold close to 710,000 units in the month, despite the fact that it was released on November 21. Also the sales figures for the 3DS version of Super Smash Bros. add a sizable amount of 1.5 million units sold since October to Nintendo's total which shows how key the Smash Bros.

Well it seems like the Final Fantasy festivities on PS4 have begun, as a supposed listing on the Square Enix Botique for Final Fantasy X|X-2 has been sighted and taken down shorty after. But the listing has already been saved and cached on the internet for the world to see. We must say that we're excited as the release date has been teased for sometime in 2015, which means we could be getting four Final Fantasy games in 2015 which is kind-of insane and unprecedented for Square Enix. 20 years ago today, the original Playstation was released in Japan. Yes on the 3rd December, 1994 Sony's first console hit the market in Japan and would bring a era of disc based gaming to the forefront and away from tapes and cartridges of old. Now today Sony is commemorating the occasion with a limited edition of their latest console the PS4, which aesthetically resembles the original Playstation.
