Join us this summer in Downtown Sylvania for First Fridays filled with peace, love, paintbrushes, cool brews, and local tunes.

July 3 – Red, White & Brew | (starting at 12 PM) Celebrate all things red, white, and brew with live music, food trucks, craft beer, and festive summer fun. Yep — the party starts here (and then head to the fireworks) boom boom!

August 7 – Sylvania Plein Air | (and the week leading up to it) Artists from all over the county will fill Downtown Sylvania with artistry as they set-up easels and paint the town. Experience art in action and celebrate the beauty of our community.

Enjoy downtown shopping, specials, entertainment, and celebrations all summer long. We can’t wait to see you in Downtown Sylvania!

June 5 – Hippie Fest First Friday -Throw on your bell bottoms, grab your flower crowns, and join the peace train for a far-out evening of fun, music, art, and good vibes.

The Art Supply Depo - Exhibition opening for Duane Ackley

Hip to the Groove - Henna tattoo, Spend $25+ during Hippie Fest and take home a little extra groove. Rico on conga’s from 6-8

Create Art Studio + Workshop - open watercolor from 5:00-7:30pm. There will be lots of groovy examples:)

In celebration of National Bird Migration Month, join us for a special edition of Red Bird First Friday: For the Birds!

Enjoy two unique art exhibits at our fine art galleries:
• Hudson Gallery’s 4th Annual “Bird Song” Exhibition featuring gallery-represented artists
• Fuller Art House’s “Bluebird” Exhibit showcasing members of the Athena Art Society along with many local and regional artists

Special Feature:
Celebrate the 110th anniversary of the Sylvania Franciscans with a interactive installation of 110 ceramic birdhouses displayed throughout downtown in participating Red Bird businesses.

Interactive Fun & Giveaway:
Pick-up a Migration on Main card at any participating shop. Visit locations, collect marks, and submit your completed card for a chance to win a ceramic workshop for up to six guests at Alverno Studio on the Lourdes Campus!

Plus:
Live music, poetry, DORA, and more festive experiences throughout the evening.
