We often post about our beautiful Tagelharpas so here is a little something else we make as well. A 2-inch Mjolnir charm hand carved from air dried and aged Acacia wood and embedded with Icelandic Lava Rock stones. Charred around the ridge and wood burned with Nordic designs and runes spelling out the God Thor by name, the charms inclusions offer consecration and protection via the acacia wood and grounding and attunement to the earth from the lava rock. A beautiful and effective spiritual piece for anyone. This beautiful piece is $35.56 USD on our Etsy Page www.mcconacraft.etsy.com
Also I wanted to post a bit about the newest addition to our instrument stock, a 30 in long soprano 3 string tagelharpa in black by the name Draugr. In the Norse stories a draugr was a dead warrior still typically clad in armor raised from the grave with the intent to torment and destroy without remorse and typically without regard to whom they once were which differs greatly from the modern idea's of zombies as draugr were known to reprise their own human level intelligence just devoid the human empathy.
The design itself for both the center piece and tailpiece stem from a central Othala rune and sprawl into sever rune inclusions as well as dual lined ridge ultimately culminating into the draugr face within the war helm.

Ouroboros is often symbolized as cosmic harmony, eternity, and the cycle of birth and death. This 42inch Hemlock body has a baritone nylon 2 string that will transport you into a deep trance like state of your own cosmic harmony. It is decorated with serpent scrollwork and has the triple moon for the sound holes that also symbolizes the cycle of life. SolSong is a pet project of love combining aspects inspired by Gaelic/ Celtic designs and symbology with Norse/viking like designs and symbology. A 29 inch long, 7 inch wide boat shaped elongated body with angular central semi circles mid frame. The body is made of AshWood while it's top sound board is made of beech and it's back maple. Edges are colored and decorated with shaped cutoff canary wood giving it depth and texture not offered by use of statues as and paints while the body itself is colored a deep wood green mimicking the color of a dark moss or marsh growth. It's sound holes are cut to shape the sun and two leaves to give the feel of a more nature inspired creation and is stuffed with antiques brass studs. The tail piece is made from leopard wood (a hardwood which has a grain imitating leopard spots or snake scales. The bridge is made from a deep brown marble grained walnut stub with long slender legs. The pegs are made from ebony and are strung with black nylon monofilament which imitates the look and sound of traditional horse hair.
