“Make Life Beautiful” is something I remind myself of often, and something I try to live out daily in small, meaningful ways. Lately, that’s looked like turning some of my original watercolor pieces into magnetic iPhone cases—so a little piece of art gets to live in everyday life, not just on the wall.

Each case features my original artwork and has that satisfying magnetic snap (you know the one 😌). Practical, protective, but still personal—like carrying a small bit of beauty with you.

The process of creating and seeing the end result are viewed through two different mindsets.

Creation is my peace, my resting place. It's what allows my "what if" explorative mind go and play. It's where my subconscious rests and finds answers. The peace found while creating is like resting in your mother's embrace; definitely not as great but it's a close second.

Now, viewing your work and being proud of it... well we all enjoy looking at beautiful things. It gives a sparkle to little moments wherever you put them. Looking at my work, it's transformative for me. It takes me to a place, a little moment in time where things are quiet. Sometimes you can feel the breeze, or hear the birds. It's like sitting on the back porch alone, looking out at the world at peace. It's a moment of solitude.

I hope others find the same peace while viewing my work. If I could do any good in the busy and chaotic world, it would bring peaceful moments of solitude to those who view my work.
