That’s why local artist Chris Kostick designed this class for beginners. The bridge is already lightly sketched on your canvas, and Chris walks you through everything step-by-step so you’re never left wondering what to do next.

No pressure to be “good” at art. Just a chance to try something creative, relax for a few hours, learn a few tips and tricks, and maybe surprise yourself a little.

A beginner-friendly, guided experience where parents and kids can create together. No experience needed. All supplies provided. Just show up and slow down for a bit.

You can make one frame together or each make your own. Price is per frame.

Thirteen bottles are waiting for the people who are ready for them.

LOCAL ARTIST SPOTLIGHT

When I first opened Moonshadow, I kept hearing the same name over and over: Melinda Byrd of Byrdcall Studio

People would tell me, “You have to meet her.” I’d see people wearing shirts she had printed, hear stories about past work they had done together, and feel how loved and respected she is within the local creative community.

Then one day, she stopped into the shop.

We planned a time to sit down and talk about her process, inspiration, and the sense of belonging and connection we can receive from nature and the land around us. It felt less like meeting someone new and more like talking with an old friend.

I quickly understood why she’s such a staple in this community. Her work feels grounding, thoughtful, and quietly captivating.

While we didn’t end up hosting a block print workshop together here before we close our doors (at the end of this month), I’m so honored to now have some of her original work available at Moonshadow.

Beautiful gifts for someone you love… or yourself, because you deserve something soothing and interesting to look at too 💛 Come and see em before June 21st!
