That means the Downtown Sykesville Farmers Market is in full swing today from 9:00 AM–1:00 PM! If you’re heading into town and need a place to park, feel free to use The Band Shoppe’s lot and enjoy a short stroll down to Main Street while checking out all the amazing local vendors. The little ones can. Ride the train and enjoy the model trains 🚂

Today, Lee and Tony had the opportunity to help Mrs. Hirschmann introduce the exciting world of band and orchestra to the students at Timber Grove! 🎶

We had a blast demonstrating the different instruments students can choose from next year and sharing what makes each one unique. The students were incredibly engaged, asked thoughtful questions, and thoroughly enjoyed the musical selections we performed for them.

The best part? An overwhelming majority of the students expressed interest in joining band or orchestra next year! Seeing that level of enthusiasm for music education is truly inspiring.

We can’t wait to watch these future musicians grow, learn, and shine on stage at their concerts next year. The future of music at Timber Grove is looking bright! 🎺🎻🥁 🪊 🪈🎷

We’ll never let Lee live down any of his hysterical childhood school photos, and anytime one resurfaces, you can bet we’ll be sharing it with the world! 😂

We’re still on the hunt for two legendary pieces of Band Shoppe history: the infamous photo of Lee playing guitar and bass dressed as a pirate 🏴‍☠️, and his 4th-grade school picture proudly posing with his beloved trombone.

If you happen to have either of these treasures tucked away in a photo album, please send them our way or tag us in a post. Help us embarrass we mean, celebrate Lee’s musical journey!

Good Morning and Happy Memorial Day y’all Just a few friendly reminders that The Band Shoppe will be closed today, 5/25/26, in observance of Memorial Day. 🇺🇸

Today, we honor and remember all those who made the ultimate sacrifice, and we thank all who have served and continue to serve our country. ❤️🤍💙

We will resume normal business hours tomorrow at 12:00 PM.

That means it’s the perfect excuse to get out of the house, grab some good food, and shop local for any last-minute Memorial Day weekend essentials. 🇺🇸
