Working on a crocheted basket today with one of my new hooks. I think I've finally come up with a good use for my yarn that I salvaged from sweaters. The light blue is cashmere, the white is a wool blend and the black is lambswool. The dark blue is a mohair blend that is a new yarn that I also got from a resale shop. Anyone else like shopping resale shops for craft supplies? It's one of my favorite things!

Late night post. I think I've finally got my knitting pattern for my fret pet bear done. Now to finalize my crochet version and then I'm ready to move these to the testing phase!! I never imagined I'd design my own patterns, but here we are. 💙

Playing with patterns today and went back to try the original Snuggle Bear pattern that inspired these comforting fidgets. It was fun to try out this pattern again after playing with so many different variations. I still did a few personal changes, but it turned out cute. I stuck bearings in this one... One in each foot, one in the body, and a fourth in the head. It gives the bear a comfortable weight, keeps it soft, and allows for plenty of fidgeting!
