Meet Kaitlin Thomas, who comes to us from Dublin with many years of dance experience. I’ll let her introduce herself in her own words below. She’s going to be such a blessing to our group this year. Please feel free to say hello in the comments!!

Hi everyone!

My name is Kaitlin Thomas, and I’m so excited to be teaching at The Vine Dance Company! I’m from Dublin, Georgia, and I danced at Fancy Dancer for 15 years, including 9 years of competitive dance. I hope to teach the girls more than just technique. I want to help them build confidence, discipline, and creativity. I can’t wait to share my love of dance with everyone, but more importantly, my love for the Lord!

Our Vine dancers are precious to us! ☺️ We believe they’ve each been gifted to us by God and without them our dance family wouldn’t be what it is. So this summer, we’ve been celebrating each of them by shining a spotlight on what makes them unique!

The Vine Dancer of The Day is:

🌸 Raimy Moxley 🌸

At recital, each dancer recieved a special keepsake to commemorate her year. Under her name, a special word embroidered in dusty pink. One that describes a character trait she demonstrated throughout the year. Raimy’s word was “engaged” and nothing could describe her presence more. From the first day she walked into the studio “Raims” was all-in. No matter the class or content, she was always eager to learn what was next and get it right. She never needs encouragement to focus, do her best, or enjoy herself. Her best is her default. Especially during our “Plank Challenges”. 😉 She is our official Vine Plank Champ for never having lost a single challenge and we don’t expect her to anytime soon. We believe Raimy’s engaged personality is one of the many blessings given to her by God and cultivated by her family to help her serve His mission of sharing His love with the world in her own special way. We are so very grateful for your presence, Raims, and you are SO LOVED! 💕 Keep being the you God made you to be!

🌸 Jeanie Hunter 🌸

At recital, each dancer recieved a special keepsake to commemorate her year. Under her name, a special word embroidered in dusty pink. One that describes a character trait she demonstrated throughout the year. Jeanie’s word couldn’t have been anything other than “Cheerful”. In Proverbs 17:22, the Bible says, “A cheerful heart is good medicine,” and it must be true, because Jeanie’s cheerful presence was always good medicine to my soul and the souls of all her dance mates. Ever-smiling, she not only consistently maintains a cheerful demeanor, she also chooses to encourage, to laugh, and to keep trying, even during the most trying practices. She is hilarious, energetic, full of life, and kind to every single person in our studio family. She always treats her teachers with respect, and has a special zeal for learning new things. We believe all these amazing qualities, especially her “cheerfulness”, are just a few of the many blessings given to her by God and cultivated by her family to help her serve His mission of sharing His love with the world in her own special way. 🌸 Isabella Jenkins 🌸

During the year, just as we all do, Kaydence faced challenges. What’s notable about K’s experience with challenges is that she never gave up or gave in to them, and she always came back stronger. Her never-give-up attitude is inspiring and will surely affect many of those around her throughout her entire life. 🌸 Ellie Rountree 🌸

At recital, each dancer recieved a special keepsake to commemorate her year. Under her name, a special word embroidered in dusty pink. One that describes a character trait she demonstrated throughout the year. Ellie actually received two words…”Gentle Spirit”. If you know her, this comes as no surprise. Ellie isn’t the least bit shy or quiet. She has plenty to say and is a friend to all, but her words and behaviors are never forceful or rough. She always speaks gently, with kindness in her words, and she is careful to watch over her fellow dancers and contend for anything they might need. She is often the first to offer suggestions in efforts to settle arguments and maintain peace among everyone. 🌟 Austyn Fields 🌟

At recital, each dancer recieved a special keepsake to commemorate her year. Under her name, a special word embroidered in dusty pink. One that describes a character trait she demonstrated throughout the year. Austyn’s word was “Visionary”, and it fits her perfectly. During dance class, it’s often we hear Austyn say things like,

“What if we did it like this?”

“Can we put this in our dance?”

And more often than not, she’s right! There were several dance steps, turns, or poses in their final routines that were there because Austyn had a fun idea and spoke up in a kind way.
