On Saturday, October 17, LifeSouth is bringing the community together for a special blood drive and family-friendly event supporting patients living with sickle cell disease, in partnership with Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies.

For patients who receive frequent transfusions, finding compatible blood can become more difficult over time. A larger, more diverse donor pool can help increase the availability of closely matched blood when it’s needed most.

Stop by to donate blood, learn more about sickle cell disease and enjoy:
