Disco Jungle 🪩

Big wedding, big production, and a whole lot happening behind the scenes.

There were power outages, a flat tire, delayed floral shipments, product arriving unusable and needing to be re-shipped at the last minute, last-minute changes, tight timelines, and plenty of moments where we all just had to figure it out.

And honestly, that’s event work. Things happen. You adjust, communicate, solve the problem, and keep moving.

This one took months of planning and a really solid vendor team. Getting to collaborate with and everyone involved made such a difference, including both of our husbands who are now official employees 😂. Everyone handled their piece, jumped in when needed, and kept the whole thing moving toward the same goal.

The biggest wedding in the state, and a good reminder that what you see in the final photos is only a small part of what goes into making an event like this happen.

Really grateful to have been part of this one. 🪩

9 years ago today, on the rainiest day of the entire year, standing in the middle of a hay field, we said our vows and chose each other.

Since then, we’ve filled our home with little footsteps, big memories, hard seasons, really good ones, and a life we could have only dreamed of back then. We’ve grown, changed, learned, and continued to choose each other through it all.

But most importantly, we’ve built our marriage with God at the center. We know that the love we have for each other is something bigger than just the two of us, and we’re grateful for a faith that continues to anchor our family, especially when life doesn’t go exactly as planned.

Nine years later, I’m still so thankful that on that rainy day in a hay field, I got to say “I do” to my best friend. And I’m even more thankful for everything that “I do” has become. Our family, our home, our memories, and a lifetime of choosing each other with God leading the way.

9 years down. Forever to go. 🤍
