From Carmen leading “Tomorrow” (with Finn the good dog playing Sandy) to the news to 🥊 boxing 🥊 to Newsies to Nauseous by Apollo, R***e ‘26 went off quite well. Our tight knit family of performing arts kids has elected their new officers (congratulations Grace and Emma as as school’s new presidents!) and now the 15 seniors will step off our stage into the real world. Yes it’s hard to write this because of how much each and every one of your kids - our students - contributes to this place they call ‘second home’ for a few years. This was a very happy year for them and we have every faith that they will do well for themselves and that some will certainly remain lifelong friends. We honor their separate paths they choose and we wish them healthy lives.

Sincerely, Giles Turner, Jacob Guidi, and Michael Spinetta

PS: Good job, Stagecraft - I’ll miss you the most.

We see senior Michael Brashear in this lineup - third from left - and he earned the 2000+ community service hours he reported, plus all the ones we know he did but didn’t report. Thank you for all your hard work over these many years, Michael. (And thanks to all the other kids who work for their community.) 🎭

23 community service champions were recognized for going above and beyond for their community at the May board meeting!
Combined, these students have completed over 11,000 hours of community service during their high school careers, with 3 students reaching the 1,000-hour milestone.

When do kids “own” what they do? When they are positively encouraged to work on a permanent project like the Garden Theater that expands their creative abilities. Tyler and Evie and Tokyo helped mortar in river rock ribbons. Daphne helped design the Hobbit House (for Lego people) under a bench. The kids inset a buffalo quarter and buffalo nickel today too — both found in change by RJ. This thing is theirs forever now. The kids who helped Mr. Spinetta and Mr. Deamer outside got a pizza party!

Just another Monday at school with kids cleaning the sink, closets, floor and desks while others painted a reclaimed chalkboard, painted sets, and ran lines. It is ALWAYS. BUSY. HERE!
