We are SO excited to have some incredible teachers from Reno Dance Company come teach masterclasses for our teen 12+ dancers on Tuesday, June 16th!
Miss Lesa and Mr John are incredibly talented teachers and they are coming to our studio to offer some amazing classes for our students!
These classes will be for ages 12+. Please text Miss Jillaine what classes your dancer would like to take and we will register you! (we recommend as many as they can 😉)
Class fee is $10 per class per student (payable via cash, check, or Venmo to Mt Lassen Dance Academy

Schedule for Tuesday, June 16th

4:00-5:00 pm Boys Ballet (Boys only!) with John @718 Main St Studio

4:00-5:00 pm Pointe with Lesa @110 S Gay Studio (if your dancer is 12+ but doesn’t have pointe shoes yet they may attend the class off pointe in their regular ballet shoes)

5:00-6:00 pm Lyrical with John @718 Main St Studio (this class is for boys and girls)

6:00-7:30 pm Partnering with John and Lesa @718 Main St Studio

It’s showtime!! Mt Lassen Dance Academy is proud to present our annual spring production “A Little Bit of Broadway”. Tonight and tomorrow only at 6pm at the Susanville Veterans Hall. Come immerse yourself in the glittering world of Broadway in New York City and experience timeless classics such as Phantom of the Opera and Singin in the Rain. You will also discover new favorites that have recently hit the musical scene such as In the Heights!

Senior Shoutout!!!
Luke Trevizu is 17 years old he has been dancing for four years. His favorite dance style is hip-hop. Other than dance Luke spends his time swimming, reading, hanging out with friends and family, and by far making fun of his best friends. He has been home schooled throughout his life and has recently graduated from HSLDA online academy and has completed multiple classes with Colorado Christian University. His future plans are to attend George Fox university and major in History and Politics and then go on to become a prosecuting lawyer. Luke would like to thank Seanne Maclrath and his two cousins for teaching him how to dance. He would also like to thank his parents and family for putting up with his crazy dance journey. He will forever remember all the fun that he has had these last few years of dance and he will take his skills with him. Especially when he has to impress some girls.

- Luke Trevizu. A name that is followed by joy, laughter, talent, intelligence, and a wild sense of humor! This young man is such a special person. Luke has been a part of our studio for many years and has amazed us with his talents in musicality, dance, and his ability to always show up to class with a joyful spirit. He is a great musician and artist and we are so excited to see what he will accomplish! We are going to miss him and his laughter deeply and send him off proudly with all the love and fun he’s given us over the years! We love you so much Luke! Go conquer the world!

Senior Shoutout!
Autumn has been dancing since the age of six, and it has been a meaningful part of her life ever since. Through dance, she has grown as a person while forming lasting friendships and unforgettable memories. She currently teaches jazz at Mt. Lassen Dance Academy and loves sharing her passion while watching her dancers grow. Autumn is incredibly thankful for her family’s constant love and support, as well as her dance teachers who have always believed in her and encouraged her to push beyond her limits. She graduated high school in the fall and is now enrolled in the Registered Nursing program at Lassen College. In the future, she hopes to become a pediatric nurse practitioner and will always cherish the lessons and memories dance has given her as she moves into this exciting new chapter.

- To say we are proud of this girl is an understatement! This past year she has been teaching for our studio, taking her own load of heavy classes, healing from an injury, finishing high school, and starting nursing school! This girl is a powerhouse who can do anything she sets her mind to! Autumn has been with us since she was a tiny baby dancer and it is mind blowing how quickly the time has gone by. She has grown up with her own bright sparkle and self confidence that is inspiring and infectious and her quick wit is a source of much laughter in dance class. We are in awe of the beautiful and accomplished woman she has become and are thankful we’ve gotten to be a part of her life. Go conquer the world Autumn girl! We love you!
