Hello and welcome to Disability Film Club!
Disability Film Club is dedicated to exploring disability by screening films that feature history and advocacy efforts, lived experience, authentic representation, and creative works depicting disability. After each screening, attendees are invited to go deeper into the film by identifying themes, sharing reflections, and hearing from others during an informal discussion.
The purpose of this club is to promote empowerment and togetherness by providing a space where all are welcome to learn, share, and discuss. You do not need to have a disability to or be an advocate to attend, screenings are free and open to everyone! Recognizing that this topic includes heavy themes, it is our intention to create a supportive environment that is respectful, safe, and inclusive.
