Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate the 50th Anniversary Sunnyvale Art & Wine Festival last weekend.

From discovering incredible artists and makers to enjoying live music, great food, local wine and beer, family activities, and time spent with friends and neighbors, you helped make this milestone year truly special.

My latest musical adventure, The Barn Owls, takes the stage at this year's 5oth Anniversary Sunnyvale Art & Wine Festival this Saturday, June 6th from 3:30pm - 5pm. https://www.sunnyvaleartandwine.com/music
TBO is a swaggering, blues-rock infused Americana jam band with a 1970s analog sound. https://mjahern.bandcamp.com/album/the-barn-owls
The Barn Owls combine soulful vocals and instrumental vitality into a dynamic improvisational live performance. Fronted by singer/guitarist Michael John Ahern the band includes several Nor Cal musical notables including Trey Sabatelli (Tubes, Tainted Love, Jefferson Starship), Bob McBain (Pete Floyd, Grateful Heart Band), Scott Van Wagner (Flat5), Chris Cotruvo (The Rockmakers, Robin Campbell Band), and Mark Heims (Bayou Moon). Seamless, and chaotic, gentle and expressive this unique blend of musicianship and spontaneous creative chemistry is keeping the spirit of Americana, jam band, classic rock and blues alive and well in the Golden State.
Special guest, pal and amazing singer Matt Owens of Midnight Flyer will be joining TBO for some numbers.
My good friend Gary Wood, NorCal Sound is producing the front of house sound.
