Spring Session for parent child Music Together classes begins the week of April 7!

Your child probably won’t grow up to be a global pop star or concert pianist (though, who knows?!). They can grow up to be a confident music-maker, since we are ALL born with the capacity to learn to sing and dance as part of everyday life. And it’s so easy for you to support this growth now, when they are little: Just make music as a family!

Join us for the Maracas Song Collection this Spring. Your children will love the energy of this collection! Songs include the American children’s song, “Ha Ha This a-Way” made famous by legendary blues guitarist Huddle Ledbetter (aka “Lead Belly”), the enchantingly rhythmic "Al citrón," based on a traditional Latin American children's game, and "’Bout My Friends," sure to have everyone dancing to its funky blues. In addition to your weekly classes, your tuition includes recordings and materials for you to use at home, including an illustrated songbook and access to the songs through the Music Together app.

“Music Together is research-based, kid-focused, and there are no expectations of the children. Not that they sit down, not that they dance at the appropriate time, not that they even stay in the circle with the other parents and kids. The only expectations and rules are for the parents.” Read on for more about this parent’s search for a truly accepting children’s program: https://adhdhomestead.net/music-together/
