Our Vision: to make the landmark Livery building the hub of the harbor and the greater Sunapee region by providing community enrichment through the arts, education, and other cultural opportunities. The group reorganized into a 501-c-3 non-profit corporation - Sunapee Heritage Alliance, when the Town of Sunapee sold the building to Sunapee Harbor Riverway. We initially leased the building from the Riverway but now have taken full ownership.

Our Story

The town appointed Harbor House Livery Committee worked together for years hoping a plan could be made to save the building. The group reorganized into a 501-c-3 non-profit corporation when the Town of Sunapee sold the HHL to Sunapee Harbor Riverway. We have leased the building from the Riverway and will work with the community to plan its future. Our focus will now also include research and resources related to all Sunapee landmarks, sites and architecture as well as the future of the HHL.
