There are two opportunities to share in the creative festivities!

June 18, 2026 at Dine at the Dream Park, 4 - 7 pm
June 20, 2026 at the Dream Park 9 am - 12 pm

Mayela Finol will lead the painting as we create a one-of-a-kind piece of art at the Sun Prairie Dream Park. Help give the climbing wall a new look that reflects your dreams for the future and the Sun Prairie community!

All ages, no skills required for these open community art-making events!

Today is National Hug Your Cat Day!

Whoopensocker students LOVE writing about animals. In fact, it’s one of the topics that comes up the most across notebooks, especially on “True Story Day.” In this true story, a young author from Lake View Elementary adopted a cat named Gregory and knit him his very own sweater.

We have exciting news!

The Sun Prairie City Council and Mayor Steve Stocker proclaimed this month as June Arts Month, in partnership with Sun Prairie Mural Fest, Visit Sun Prairie, the Downtown Sun Prairie Business Improvement District, Sun Prairie Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department.

This proclamation is a celebration of all the arts events happening in the City of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, USA in the month of June!

It’s June Arts Month in Sun Prairie! Join the GO-CART for a new Kids Cabaret performance series especially for youth and families! The concert is 5:00 to 6:00 pm, immediately preceding the Sun Prairie Concerts in the Park Series. This special cultural arts series is sure to get you singing, moving, and having fun!

Summer Kick-Off Event! Angela Puerta Music - Kids Duet offers a one-of-a-kind musical experience that blends entertainment, education, and cultural exploration for young audiences. Each performance is highly interactive—kids are invited to borrow small instruments and play along during the show, sparking hands-on engagement and a growing love for music in both English and Spanish!
