Join the Pelican Players on Wednesday, August 26th for a Readers Theater Double Feature! It's FREE and is the perfect opportunity to see more of what your community theater is all about!

The two performances are “Angel of Death" and “If in Years to Come". In the format of old time radio shows, these two performances will be at the Kings Point Veterans Theater. The show starts at 6:30pm, with doors opening at 6:00pm. This is a complimentary performance to thank everyone for their support! BYO drinks and snacks and enjoy an evening of entertainment. All Pelican Players performances are open to the public.

"Angel of Death" is a terrifying ghost story set in World War I. A young man was sent to the war and his family was notified of his death. But his ghost visits his family and terrorizes his cousin Alice who is afraid she is losing her mind. As the story unfolds, there are surprises and twists with an unexpected ending.

In "If in Years to Come", the play unfolds in a mid 20th century world shaped by postwar uncertainty, and shifting social expectations. The tone blends emotional drama, and the intimate storytelling style of classic radio theatre.
