It is two days packed full with a little bit of something for everyone :) The Sumner Daze Festival is held Third Weekend in August Each Year. In our inaugural year of 1986, the Festival was a one-day event and very successful under the direction of a team of loyal, hard-working local people. In 1989 we expanded to a two-day celebration with amazing participation from people in the area. Today, we
remain a very exciting two day weekend festival attended by at least 1,000 people per year! The festival features family fun for all ages! To start off the festival a grand parade travels through the Village of Sumner filled with many entries and tons of candy for the kids! Highlighting some of the wonderful events during the weekend are: an all-you-can eat pancake breakfast; horse pulls; bake sale; antique tractor pulls; gospel and country music; craft vendors; food vendors; inflatable rides; pedal pulls for children; animal petting zoo; children’s pet parade; classic car/pickup/cycle show; heavy hauler truck show and much, much more!
