Three years ago today, television lost one of its most beloved personalities, Bob Barker. He was 99 years old.❤️

For generations of viewers, Bob Barker was a familiar face who brought laughter, excitement and a little bit of fun into their homes. His legendary “Come on down!” became part of television history. 🎉

Back in August 1982, our Artistic Director George Marriner Maull and his wife, Marcia, appeared on The Price Is Right—and both were called down from the audience to compete. You won't believe what George won! 🎁

At our recent outreach visit to Randolph Senior Center, about 90 seniors enjoyed an afternoon of active listening and live music with violinists Michael Avagliano and Evelyn Estava — a husband-and-wife team who brought Bach’s Double Violin Concerto (the ‘Bach Double’ to life! 🎻❤️ The end is the funniest part!!

🎻🎹 Music, Listening & a Little Eyebrow Exercise! 😊

The Discovery Orchestra had a wonderful time at Randolph Senior Center, where about 90 seniors joined us for an engaging afternoon of music and discovery!

Rick Kaller was at the piano, with Michael Avagliano and Evelyn Estava on violin, performing the first movement of Bach’s beloved Double Violin Concerto.

In this clip, Michael invites the audience to wiggle their eyebrows whenever they hear a musical idea return — a fun way to help everyone listen for patterns, sequences, and the musical “steps” that Bach uses to build the piece. 🎶
