I had a great time performing tonght at NoBull Burger first time performing live since 2022 to say i was nervous is a understatement but I did my thing it felt good to be in the spotlight again and enjoyed all the local talent thank you both Joshua Rowe and Jamie Jamison for hosting and the pics looking forward to the next songwriter showcase open mic special thanks to Ray Weatherford and Bradly Montana for helping me get to the event without yall I wouldn't of made it

My music journey

Im a self taught singer songwriter and guitarist been playing and writing since 2009 posted my first vid on YouTube in 2012 goo goo dolls name its not great 😂 i started singing before that not sure of the date but I've always loved music as a baby i ran away from my mom at the beach to get on stage daytona beach mind you with my uncle and they lost me in the crowd it was spring break and very crowded and im visually impaired age 3 to 4 i think 😂 not sure how i made it thru the crowd to the stage but i did the music lured me in after searching the crowd they found me i was listening to the band performing my uncle claims he got laid that night they had a hip female singer my first time on stage as a performer I sang with arms wide open at a talent show I learned guitar years later mainly by learning riffs and playing in drop d not knowing anything theory wise then I moved to standard watched YouTube videos and I had a beatles song which taught me a ton of chords and songs 2016 I went to my first open mic it was scary but i did well went back a week later and flaked after that i never looked back went to every open mic i could find for three years and played my heart out eventually i got my first 30 minute gig a songwriters showcase then gradually got to headline my own gigs while performing around the Summerville area i networked and ended up getting two singles on 98rock and 105.5 the bridge a light inside you and don't let go and i got the opportunity to perform my original music on the fox 24news and i met a lot of music friends all talented and supportive for the most part looking back i would have never thought my voice musicianship and songwriting would take me as far as it has I've been on tv radio and in the newspaper I've played all over charleston and met some awesome musicians and singer songwriters looking forward i plan.to make a album and release more singles and I plan to start gigging again soon and start a band music's everything to me and it has changed my life in so many ways i hope that my musical journey inspires you to believe in dreams bc with heart hard work and dedication anything is possible

Give yourself the same love and care you give to others and find people who pour into you just as much as you pour into them people who want to see you win no jealousy no envy if you're a giver and you spent or spend the majority of your life and time being the strong one for everyone friends family partners it's okay it's not selfish and it doesn't make you a bad person you can't pour from a empty cup and it's not your responsibility to fix or save everyone especially at the expense of your mental health you deserve solid people and connections around you people you can trust and people who will take care of you in the same way you take care of them
