Hello, hive! As of May 15th, my 3-year Visiting Assistant Professor contract at CofC will be came to an end, and I am returning to the industry full-time. I am looking for contract work opportunities in theatre & entertainment design and production. I am available for hire for the 26/27 season for D&P contract work with regional theaters, production companies, or universities/colleges. I am open to scenic and/or costume design, scenic painting, properties, costume craft, as well as assistant directing and production management. Let's connect or maybe we could collaborate again? 😉

Occasionally I get to flex my muscle and have the honor to paint for another designer. Recalling the incredible overscaled desk & books the interns and I painted for Benjamin Kramer's design for THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE (ABRIDGED)(REVISED) directed by Jeff Bender at the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey. (Presented at the outdoor stage at The College of St. Elizabeth.) I was particularly proud of the burl wood, I must say.

Back to the beginning: My first big design after deciding to change careers while studying scenography— Lorca's THE HOUSE OF BERNARDA ALBA directed by the inspiring Will Pelligrini at MGSA's Levin Theatre. This collaboration opened my lens WIDE and challenged me about what I did NOT yet know (which was A LOT.)
