They are Here...... the new gift bags for this years event have arrived and will be stuffed full of cool things!

We will also have this super cool item manufactured expecially for us and donated by the The Iron Beaver. What a great item to display on your desk or shelf! This item will be available in our auctions or raffless at the event!

All registered participants will receive our gift bag which will come with a T-shirt, a Poker Chip and...... well you'll just have to attend to see what we have for you. The value of our gift bag far exceeds the $30 registration fee.

🇺🇸 CALLING ALL PATRIOTS — DAY 1 of 2: BRIDGE RIDE #26 WEEKEND! 🇺🇸

On Friday, October 9, 2026, we kick off the 5th Annual West Virginia Gold Star Mothers Bridge Ride Weekend with a special ride from Walmart Quincy - Warrior Way to the City of Summersville, WV— and we’re inviting riders, veterans, families, supporters, and proud Americans to join us.

This is more than a motorcycle ride. It is a day to stand beside our West Virginia Gold Star Mothers, remember their sons and daughters, and show that West Virginia will always Say Their Names and Honor Their Legacies.

📍Walmart Quincy - Warrior Way

9:00–10:00 AM — Registration
Register for the ride to Summersville and enter your bike in our People’s Choice Bike Show — $10 entry fee.

We’ll ride together to Summersville, where participants will gather at the pavilion for food and an official welcome from the Mayor of Summersville Dave Harper and WV Secretary of State's Office Kris Warner.

Following the pavilion activities, riders will proceed to the Summersville Arena parking lot before dispersing and preparing for the next chapter of an unforgettable Bridge Ride weekend.

As we prepare for the 5th Annual West Virginia Gold Star Mothers Bridge Ride we remain committed to honoring every one of West Virginia's Post-9/11 fallen heroes with the dignity, accuracy, and respect they have earned.

After conducting an extensive review of official military records, we have updated our memorial roster to ensure the correct spelling of names, ranks, and service branches. We have also added Specialist Sarah Beckstrom, a member of the West Virginia Army National Guard, whose sacrifice reminds us that the call to serve and defend our nation continues today.

This year's memorial now honors 66 West Virginia service members who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

Every name represents a life of courage.
Every family carries a legacy of love and sacrifice.
Every hero deserves to be remembered.

On October 10, 2026, hundreds of riders from across the nation will gather beneath the iconic New River Gorge Bridge to ensure their stories are never forgotten.

Always an honor when one of our West Virginia Gold Star Mothers drops in the Quality Inn - Summersville, West Virginia for a visit.

Vicki Ashley-Matics and Andy Matics stopped by last Friday to visit for a few while waiting on thier bus ride to transport them the 19th annual Mountain Man Memorial March in Tennessee.

One of the West Virginia Gold Star Mothers Bridge Ride long time participants Rj Raye participated in this event for the third time to honor MM2 Joseph Joey Ashley who was taken from us on January 9, 2005 while aboard the USS San Francisco.
