Sumerduck Motorsports Park would like thank everyone that came out to Bug Invasion #5. We truly appreciate all the support from our sponsors, racers, venders and spectators. Creating the Bug Invasion was done for everyone in the VW community to help keep a tradition alive.
A lot of work and planning goes into making these shows happen and we were blessed when Colton Bug Man Williams stepped up to the plate and said he wanted to join the team and help build something great. Colton has done a fantastic job reaching out to the VW community, spreading the word about the Bug Invasion.
As the owner of Sumerduck Motorsports Park and friend of Colton Bug Man Williams I would like to apologize for the miscommunication we ran into at the very end of the event. We did it get it all worked out and realized we both were headed in the right direction but we just wasn't on the same road.
I would also like to apologize to our title sponsor Cooker's Restoration and Fabrication for mispronouncing your business name and leaving the board off during your first time run. Thankfully you was able to get a time ticket.
Cooker's Restoration and Fabrication has been a title sponsor for many years and we truly appreciate all your support and thank you very much for being a title sponsor of the Bug Invasion.
As a track owner and business owner you always want things to be perfect for your team and your guests so you do your best to make that happen but as we all know unfortunately sometimes mistakes do happen so you figure out the mistake and fix it and that's what Colton Bug Man Williams and I did.
We have already started working on new ideas for Bug Invasion #6. As the days go on we will be posting up ideas to get some opinions in hopes we can make Bug Invasion #6 a great experience for everyone.
Special THANK YOU to everyone that supports the Bug Invasion. We truly appreciate you being part of the team and we hope to see you at Bug Invasion #6 in 2027
