There was a working man that attended church every Sunday Morning. He would show up alone every Sunday, never amongst a family, children or friends. Him, alone. Consistent He was. Never a Sunday missed, on time always, he was.

He was know for falling asleep in his pew during service every week without fail.

So… One day, the pastor decided he was going to make some fun. After Pastor’s good mornings and introduction, he veered out to his left and noticed that the man, undoubtedly, was fast asleep as usual. He carried on to grasp the crowd and stated, “All who want to go to heaven, stand up!!!”

Immediately, the entire congregation stood to their feet. Moments later, with a grin amongst his face, stated for everyone to be seated, and then continued to address the crowd with, “all who want to go to Hell, STAND UP!!!” As he banged his fist down upon his podium, eyes focused amongst the man fast asleep..!

The man’s head arose quickly in surprise, stood quickly to his feet being the words “STAND UP” were the first words to process being awoke abruptly…
As he looked around with confusion, as the rest of the congregation giggled, he looked up to the Pastor and said, “I don’t know what it is that we are voting for Pastor, but it seems to be you and I are the only ones for it..”
