🚨 Attention 🚨 DJ Chevy announcement!!
For the last 6 months, I've been wrestling with a decision. Today, I've finally made it.
What started as something as a fun hobby in 2012 eventually became a business. In 2016, Threaten Me With A Good Time Entertainment officially came to life, and DJ Chevy became a household name. over the years I've had the privilege of being part of countless memories. Nightclubs (including some of my favorites as The Texas Longhorn and The Wharf), birthday parties, school events, benefits, private parties, and some truly amazing weddings.
I've watched people celebrate milestones, fall in love, get married, and dance the night away. I've met incredible people even Dj'd for Kevin Gates and Level personally and made friendships that I'll carry with me for the rest of my life.
For years I've worked my regular job during the week and spent many weekends behind a DJ booth. Lately I've found myself turning down opportunities, not because I couldn't do them, but because I wanted to be home. My kids aren't getting any younger, and I've realized there are some moments that no amount of money can buy back.
By the end of 2027, I'll be celebrating 15 years behind the booth and 11 years as an official business. It feels like the right time to close this chapter and focus more on my family.
So after a lot of thought, I've made the decision that 2027 will be my final year as a full-time DJ.
I AM STILL BOOKING FOR 2027!!!
🚨THIS IS NOT A COMPLETE GOODBYE. I'll still keep my equipment and may occasionally come out for special circumstances, friends, family, or events that mean something special to me.
But as far as actively running the business and regularly booking events, the finish line is finally in sight.
To everyone who has supported me, hired me, recommended me, danced with me, and trusted me with your special moments... thank you. I could never put into words how much it has meant to me.
Let's make this last chapter a good one. If u have stayed and read this far I know u care and this next part is for u.
