⭐️ New Book Spotlight ⭐️
THREE LITTLE WITCHES AND THE SPOOKY OLD HOUSE by Peggy Archer and Gaia Bordicchia
📖 Favorite quote: “Shriek! goes the pot! Off flies the lid! Out bursts the magic from the big black pot!”
Oh wow! The onomatopoeias and adjectives alone would make me want to recommend this book!
There are 30+ opportunities to shriek, rattle, clatter, and shiver your way through this story with your little reader. And the descriptive language! I can already imagine all kinds of fun literacy activities built around the words in this book:
“A scruffy brown mouse”
“A huge, hungry ogre”
“A musty, dusty ghost”
And I didn’t even mention the verbs! Am I making my point? 😂
If you’re looking for a Halloween book that is not only fun to read but also packed with descriptive language, onomatopoeias, and strong verbs, put this one on your list!
