Fair Entry is now OPEN!!

Fair Entry is open now until June 22. All 4-Her's need to log in and enter what they will be bringing to the Fair and what classes their animals will be showing in at the Fair. Mini 4-H members do not put anything into Fair Entry. Please be sure that you put in accurate information, this information will generate into show bills for livestock and will also generate Entry Tags for projects in the Exhibit building. You will also input how many pens you need for your livestock.

Check your email for written instructions and you can watch a short, 3 minute instructional video.

As always, we are here to help you, please call the office at 812-268-4332 or stop in and we would be happy to help you, let you use our internet, or a computer. We are open Monday through Friday 8 am to 4 pm. We will be closed on Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day.

Help support our 4-H members and become an award sponsor for the 2026 Sullivan County 4-H Fair May 1st is the cutoff

4-H project banner sponsorships are changing this year! We believe this new set up will better serve our generous donors and hardworking 4-Hers.

Instead of your name or business name being on a project banner that may or may not be awarded based on enrollment in that project, you now have another option to show your support of our youth. Sponsors will have their name or business name appear on large banners in their choice of livestock barn or the Exhibit Hall. The banner will be moved to the livestock arena during the Awards Presentation and during that barn’s livestock show. The announcer will read the list of sponsor names during the event to further your recognition.

Each sponsorship is $10. You have the option to choose the Exhibit Hall or which animal banners you would like your name to appear on. You can also select to be represented on every banner for $100. Livestock barn sponsorship options include poultry, rabbits, goats, horse and pony, beef, dairy cattle, sheep, dog, cat, and swine.

Payment for sponsorships has also undergone an upgrade. We are utilizing a fundraising website to give you more payment options. You can pay online, mail a check (payable to Sullivan County 4-H Council) to the Extension office, or bring cash to the Extension Office. If you pay by cash or check, please tear off at the perforation and return this slip with your payment. All payments must be received before May 1, 2026 to have your name or business name on the banner(s).

We understand this is a huge change from years and decades past, but we believe this strategy ensures you or your business will receive the recognition you deserve as a supporter of 4-H youth. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the Sullivan County Extension Office.

🚨 Spring Break QLC Tomorrow! 🚨
Thursday, March 26 from 12:00–1:00 PM

This training is required annually for all beef cattle, dairy cattle, swine, sheep, meat goats, dairy goats, poultry, and rabbit exhibitors for the upcoming fair season.

All exhibitors must:
✔️ Attend one of the in-person trainings OR
✔️ Complete the YQCA training online and submit your certificate to Bailey by June 22nd
✔️ Registration is required before attending an in-person training. Register for classes under “Events” in 4HOnline.

Can’t make tomorrow? No problem, there are still a few more opportunities in Sullivan:
• Tuesday, April 28 | 6:00–7:00 PM
• Thursday, May 14 | 5:45–6:45 PM
• Sunday, June 14 | 2:00–3:00 PM

Get your kids signed up for a fun week!! You dont have to have animals to enjoy the fun of 4-H

This is a friendly reminder that the preferred deadline to enroll in Mini 4-H (grades K-2) and 4-H (grades 3-12) is tomorrow, January 15. After tomorrow, you may miss out on important information and opportunities.

Important Enrollment Information:

You do not need to select all projects at the time of enrollment. You must choose at least one project when enrolling. However, projects can be added or dropped until May 15, 2026.

The $15 State 4-H fee can be paid:

By credit card during enrollment, or by selecting “pay by check” and paying by cash or check at the Extension Office

Fees must be paid before you can ID animals, enter projects in FairEntry, or sign up for events.
