❤️ Sometimes we print things. Sometimes we print memories.

This project was a little more personal for me.
My mom came to me because my grandmother—my best friend—would have been 109 years old. She absolutely loved red amaryllis flowers.

Every year, we would get them for her when we could. But flowers do what flowers do—they bloom, they're beautiful for a little while, and then they're gone.

This year, my mom asked me if I could make some....Flowers that wouldn't die.

And yeah... this one got me a little. ❤️

Because while I was making them, I wasn't really thinking about layer heights, filament, print times, or any of the normal stuff that goes through my head when I'm working.

I was making flowers for Nanny, my best friend...

She would have been 109, and I would've given anything to be handing these to her instead.

But there was also something really special about being able to make them for my mom. Something she could put together with her own greenery, arrange the way she wanted, and keep.

And this time, the flowers don't have to die. ❤️

The little red cardinal tucked into the arrangement was made by me too—and honestly, these are the things I love making most.

A favorite flower that isn't in season.
A cardinal that reminds you of someone.
Something from childhood.
A memorial piece.
A little piece of a person, place, or memory that you wish you could hold onto.

Those are the projects that have my heart.

So if you've ever thought,
“I wish I could find something like this…”
or “I wonder if this could even be made…”
— ask me.

It doesn't have to make sense to anybody else.
If it means something to you, it matters.

Maybe we can make it into something that lasts forever—or pretty darn close to it. ❤️

Sometimes we print things. Sometimes we print memories. ❤️
