The Sugar Land Arts & Music Fest is an annual event hosted by Sugar Land Cultural Arts Foundation, a non-profit organization, dedicated to preserving and improving Sugar Land’s unique cultural and artistic heritage.

Reminder for mural artists: you can submit up to five different concepts for consideration, each as a separate ZAPP application. It's a good way to show range and increase your chances of being one of the four selected artists.

Murals are sponsored by Smart Financial Centre and will be on display in their lobby for one year following the festival. Applications close September 1, with notifications going out September 15.

The countdown is on. Last night we kicked off festival season with our official kickoff reception at the Art Museum at Sugar Land Town Center.

Our board president fired everyone up, and we gave a huge shoutout to the sponsors and committee members making this year's festival happen. This November is going to be one for the books.

Beyond festival weekend, selected mural artists get something rare: a full year of display.

Smart Financial Centre, sponsor of the four murals, will showcase the completed works in their lobby throughout the coming year, celebrating both the artists' work and SFC's own 10th anniversary in Sugar Land.

Have a concept in mind? This year's mural theme, "A Decade of Inspiration: Music, Art, Community," is open to interpretation, with two requirements: concepts should incorporate blue and silver and remain suitable for a family-friendly audience.

Artists may submit up to five concepts, each on a separate application, giving you room to explore different directions. Murals are sponsored by Smart Financial Centre and will be displayed in their lobby for one year after the festival.

One month left to apply for a spot as one of four mural artists at this year's Sugar Land Arts & Music Fest.

Selected artists receive an $800 stipend and a 4' x 8' primed, stretched canvas, ready to bring their concept to life. Sponsored by Smart Financial Centre, the completed murals will hang in the SFC lobby for a full year following the festival.

Applications close September 1.

CALL FOR MURAL ARTISTS!! Sugar Land Arts & Music Fest is calling all mural artists for a milestone year. This year's theme, "A Decade of Inspiration: Music, Art, Community," invites four selected artists to paint live murals during the festival, November 6 through 8, 2026.

We're proud to partner with Smart Financial Centre, sponsor of the four murals, who will display the completed works in their lobby for one full year in celebration of their own 10th anniversary in Sugar Land.

Selected artists receive an $800 stipend, a primed 4' x 8' canvas, and the chance to have their work seen by thousands.
Applications close September 1, with acceptance notifications going out September 15.
