This year’s art show is a wrap! The kids worked hard this year and it was our first year trying some new mediums (sewing and crocheting!) but they rocked it and it was amazing seeing all of their work on display! Thank you to everyone who has helped out, supported, or donated supplies this year, every bit of support is appreciated so much by the kids and I!

We had a great turn out last night! It was so much fun seeing everyone, watching the kids’ reactions to everyone’s art, and telling stories about the chaos we’ve enjoyed this year! I had a couple of parents and kids who let me know they couldn’t make it last night, so here’s more detailed photos of everything!

Thank you to everyone who helped set up, my fellow specials teachers, administration, and everyone else who made this years art show possible!

The art room has been bustling here lately! Students are framing, writing artist statements, finishing clay, and working on sculptures, trying to get done in time for the art show May 3rd! This will be our first in-person art show since 2019 and everyone is excited!
