Thank you for everyone 💕 who reposted or stopped by Sunday at the craft sale to make it a success! My Pelican tote was my best bag seller. (Funny… fitting name for all this wet weather!) I’ll try posting every 4-5 weeks, but I am continuing my side adventure of turning some retired firefighter turnout gear into bags. Then, soon, I’ll be looking into ordering vinyl for fall and winter. Reach out if you still need a spring/summer bag.

The Pelican tote is a medium size shoulder bag about 13.5’ wide. These are made with cotton/vinyl with one exterior zip pocket on the front, the back could easily be modified for another zip pocket. I’ll display these on Sunday.

Sunday, APRIL 12, I will hop into a CRAFT SHOW in Howard. I have been creating with cotton fabrics. There are so many fabrics to to fit anyone’s personality. These are my own makes so I can adjust the size and pockets as it fits your needs The front zip pocket on the humming bird purses has small slip pockets for credit cards, tic tacs, or lipstick. These are smaller varying 9-10.5” wide. More pictures to come in a few more days.

Sunny weather brings me out! I’ve been working on cotton quilted cross bodies and totes. I am also replenishing some of my unique hot pads. I randomly create but happily take requests, no obligation if it doesn’t meet your request. More photos later in the week.

I created this pattern about 2 years ago for a customer. It was time for another picking the same style but choosing material for summer. Watch how this practical tote closes, as you fill your purse the handles secures the top!

Here I am letting everyone know I’m still quietly creating! I’ve been busy working on orders for those who privately messaged me, thank you! I’ve been working on a personal project between orders, which is creating firefighter jackets into bags. Recently, I revisited the Rowena bag pattern. This handbag is 12”W x 9”H x 4.5” D The original pattern has three top zippers. This modified version in blue has one recessed zipper on top, with 2 interior slip pockets. Simple and classy. Either version works great for anybody who likes handbags. There is an option for a crossbody strap too. This blue turquoise beauty went to a good friend.

Happy New Year! Sharing a personal photo from my family vacation and feeling blessed to have a supportive sweetie when I spend time here with Sew One Up.

Sew goals for this year is to do 2 local craft shows, work on donated fire fighter uniforms and transform them into creative love, post pics of purse patterns in my library that I’ve never tackled yet, and if time sew and donate walker bags by repurposing some scraps. Happy New Year!

Holiday time! These are priced reasonable and ready to go! Adena shoulder bag with adjustable buckle strap showcasing clean angles. It has magnetic closure with a slip and zip pocket interior. I love how it feels on my shoulder but do recommend carrying a wallet inside this one. Then enjoy the plaid vinyl Gaia crossbody with plenty of pockets. Welcome to my new followers, and thank you for a good craft show last weekend! I have one quick order to complete, but do have Christmas on my mind. I have vinyl plaid, pointsettia, or Snoopy to create your next bag. I will randomly make something unless I receive an instant message on someone requesting something specific. Undecided? I can help.
